Adventures of a Sort

So my sister Kayla was in charge of throwing a bachelorette luncheon for her cute friend Micarie. 

I got a voicemail from her saying "Call me back, it's really important, I'm frosting the wiener cookies!" She made a point to send me step by step photos of the cookie making process, and there was a discussion of what the perfect color for these cookies would be. 

I think she went a little overboard by adding the black sprinkles.... but she insisted that they already looked so lifelike that she might as well add in.... you know. 

LOL. 

Don't worry, I wasn't the only one who acted a little inappropriate with the cookies. 

I think I'm just the only one who thought it was funny enough to post it. 

My weekend also ended with my house looking like a front runner in a horror flick. 

I made myself an awesome dinner and forgot the pan on the oven (story of my life) so it got a little smoky in the kitchen. I opened a few windows, and about an hour later I realized it was FREEZING. I shut all the windows, but my bay window would NOT shut. Mind you, it was 33 degrees outside. 

There was some kind of metal piece that was bent weird on the inner side of the window.... I tried a lot of things, smashed my fingers a bunch, and then decided that knives were the best route to solve my problem. 

The bad part was that they kept falling out..... 

I feel a little lucky that I don't have stab wounds in any of my toes.
