The CHA Show in California

California was kind of... wildly amazing. It was HOT, about 80 degrees the entire time I was there. It felt like 100, I was in love from pretty much the moment I landed.
I went down there for one of the biggest trade shows we do...
CHA (aka the Craft and Hobby Association). It takes months to put together the booth, which I'm now in charge of. These past few months have been exhausting, but I've absolutely loved doing it.

This is 'the gang' Sandie, Ashley, Ashlee, Danelle, Erin, Me, Wendy, & Marlene. Definitely the perfect group of girls. We had a little too much fun (more on that in another blog post once I get the photos from Wendy).

Nancy, Me, Danelle, and Mike. Mike is my official boss, Nancy... kind of my unofficial boss too. They really are amazing to work for. You should be jealous. :).
The booth was amazing. We got THE AWARD for best booth. We've never got that before, so it was kind of awesome. Especially when my boss pulled the trump card and made me go with to accept it (note the sarcasm).

We got a zillion compliments on the shirts we wore at the booth, which was funny because most of us felt like we were wearing circus tents.....

The scrap tree and the peacock. That tree almost ended my life about 7 times. I spent more than a few hours working on it late at night, and it had a scary propensity to fall on you at the exact wrong moment.

Me & Andrea (the other assistant), I wouldn't survive without this girl.

Me & Meggie Lou, who will thankfully not have to hear me swearing like a sailor for a while.... the prep for this show was a lot of work, and I tended to drop a few choice words... occasionally.

Me & Mar. She is hysterical.

And of course CHA wouldn't be complete without my roomie Erin, I know we have better photos than this one, I just don't have them in my possession yet.

Downtown Disney is a must after the tradeshow closes for the night. So we hit the lego store... and about a million other places.

Rainforest Cafe. Has awesome aquariums.

And what's a trip to California if you don't cop a feel off Ursula??
Pretty sure she liked it.
