it is in all of us to defy expectations, 

to go into the world and to be brave, 

and to want, to need, to hunger for adventures, 

to embrace and change and chance and risk, 

so that we may breathe, and know 

what it is, to be free. 

There is the potential to live in a way that allows you to see the world. Even if you never leave the town you grew up in. Going into the world and defying expectations means something a little different to me. It means to see more than what's in front of you. To change it. To feel whats happening instead of just experiencing it. I hunger for adventure. For moments that I've yet to experience. For things to change me, make me stronger, make me appreciate things around me.... people, objects, feelings....  You should want to live in the moment. To be able to remember at least one, so perfectly. The color of the light behind your lids when you closed your eyes, and what the air tasted like. Even if it's just one fleeting second in span of months that captures your attention. 

There's more to being free and more to adventure than seeing the world. And there is more to living than waiting for the next big adventure. It's all the small things, right in front of you, that make life worth living... that makes you feel free.
