Now that you aren't doorbell ditching someone in the 12 days of Christmas, or searching the aisles for that 'perfect gift'.
For me it seems like the Christmas spirit goes away. Even if just a little bit.
I read an article on KSL last week about giving the perfect gift. It said:
"Ironically, a heartfelt gift often won’t involve things. Is there a friend you haven’t spoken to because of unhealed differences? A family member you avoid or a co-worker you can’t stand? Perhaps this year, or even a few weeks, you can give them the gift of love. Each time you see them mentally say a silent, “I love you,” even if you don’t feel it. Even if being in the same square footage makes you want to reach in and pull out their larynx. A few days of sending happy thoughts is bound to make you happier, too."
A few people...... well two, came to my mind when I read this. And I thought, "Yup, totally need to do this."
Maybe you should try it to....
Here's to hoping your holidays are still happy!

'reach in and pull out their larynx?'Yikes, but I've been there. I guess I need to do that too. LOL!
Good for you! Most of the time if we actually knew the reason behind peoples behavior we would understand their actions a little better. Doesn't mean we still wouldn't want to do bodily harm. I always give people the benefit of the doubt, although sometimes it does come back and bite me.
I need to do this. What a good reminder. Thanks!
