I'm Amazing

Once Upon a Time, Amy came home from California. 

Forgot where she parked.

Walked the aisles of the airport parking lot, froze her ass off, found her car, only to get in and realize the battery was dead. 

More freezing ensued, but my car got jumped. 

I made it home. 

The next day, guess who's car was dead again?

That's right, THIS GIRL'S.

So what's a girl to do? 

Call Crystal of course, to supply some jumper cables, a helping hand, and an audience. 

After attempting to use the car already in the garage, we found out that the battery was just TOO far away to reach mine. This was also after Allie almost electrocuted herself. 

Crystal and I were a bit terrified. Anyway, we had to move said car. 

For the record:

I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A STICK SHIFT.

AT ALL.

I mean, I know the mechanics of it..... the HOW. But the actual DOING.... not so much. 

Which resulted in me running over the garbage can. And stalling it a .... couple.... of times. 

All while Crystal and Allie laughed their asses off. 

Jump starting the car didn't work. 

Apparently my battery was already gone from this world. 

So I did what any rational girl would do. 

Took out the battery.

Which is hard to do when the effer is SO corroded that no amount of wrench and arm strength could move it. So I got out a few more tools (hammer, and sharp spikey pliers) and went to town. 

And it totally worked. 

I may or may not have had to have Allie actually lift the battery out of car because it was so heavy, but seriously, the girl has muscles. 

End result? 

Car fixed. 

New battery installed. 

I say it all the time. So I just have to say it again.

I'm Amazing. 

And so is Crystal and Allie.
