Oh? You Didn't Know?

 

5 (or 6) things you may not have known about me:

 

1- I love adventures, love them.

I love seeing new places, having new experiences, trying new things.

I also hate it, because it sometimes scares the shit out of me. I like staying on a level playing-field of comfort. But I know my life is always infinitely better when I venture outside my comfort zone.

2- I'm a romantic to the core.

I love anything that smacks of forever love. I have a board on my pinterest account entitled Swoon Worthy. Because I adore anything that's worthy of an old school, English swoon.

Surprises, kisses, surprise kisses (especially the make out kind), flowers (and not necessarily roses, though those are quite lovely), love notes, whispered words, midnight star gazing.... but I think this quote sums it up for me....

"he talks about you like you put the stars in the sky"

swoon.

3- I have a massive mouse phobia. I can't even walk down the pest control aisle at the store without getting the willies.

Enough said.

4- I once gave a speech for Governor Leavitt in front of hundreds of people. Hundreds. And I was so proud. Later, in my college years, I somehow developed this overly absurd fear of public speaking.

I've since gotten over it (with lots of practice) but it's crazy how you can flip flop like that, isn't it?

5- I love to have laughing contests. My sister Dayna and I would lay on the floor of our bedroom growing up, and start out with this most ridiculous sounding laughs in an effort to get us started.

Our problem was, once we started we often couldn't stop. Really.

I would feel like my abs were being sliced in half we had laughed for so long but it just made it worse, it was impossible. We'd be gasping for breath, writhing on the ground, and still couldn't stop.

We've only done it a handful of times in the past few years, but I still love it.

6- I want to be a hipster. Just so I can wear those black framed glasses.
